Frequently Asked Questions

When should I wash my hair before seeing you?

It’s much easier to style ‘day old’ hair than clean hair – freshly washed hair can be rather soft and fly away! If this is unavoidable, your hair needs to be completely dry for at least an hour before I set to work on it.

Can I have any style?

Depending on your hair type, pretty much, yes! If there are limitations I will advise what I think will be best for your hair to achieve the look you want. Time will be allocated accordingly, and the start time determined to suit your needs.

Is there a maximum group size?

No, if the group is particularly large I’ll bring another hairstylist with me which we’ll discuss in advance of your booking. There is an additional charge for me to bring an assistant but be assured that they will be fully trained and experienced in styling hair.

Will you come to us?

I’ll travel to whatever venue of your choice to style you and your guests hair for your special occasion. There is a travel surcharge of a 55 pence per mile. For travel over an hour away a minimum persons policy will also apply. Please ask for details.

Do I need a trial?

For your wedding, absolutely. This is essential in deciding what hairstyle you want for your big day, and so we can have a run through of how long it will take. You also get to meet me and have a chinwag about your wedding with someone who LOVES weddings!

What products do you use?

I use professional salon quality products.
